All Good Things Must Come To An End…
The holidays are drawing to a close…
As much as I hate being bored, I hate slogging my guts out more…
Ah well, the end of the holidays is not bad in and of itself, it’s when the end of the holidays coincide with the beginning of school that it’s bad… Get it? Haha. (If you don’t get it, go get a life -.-)
Let’s move on to a happier topic.
Does anyone want to play badminton with Wilson and me this Sunday? Maybe I’ll call Bobo and Wei Liang too.
There was also something else that I wanted to say, but I forgot…
Anyway, for those of you who are interested to know, next Saturday there’s a debate competition for youth debaters. The team, more or less confirmed, is Chee Kiang or Hao Zhe 1st speaker, I as second and Nan Zheng as third. You Yuan and Chee Kiang or Hao Zhe (one of them) as reserves.
The themes for the competition are as follows; 1st round, medical ethics. 2nd round law and justice. 3rd round, India and finals (if we manage to enter) International politics. I am really hyped about the competition. Wish me luck, I’m going to ask the team we lose to or win out for dinner, lol. Hopefully it will be a girl’s school. That’s going to be something to look forward to, haha.
I really like watching Friends (the sitcom). Lol, Joey is damn funny…
That was random…
Btw, I just discovered something. You can make negative qualities sound positive by changing the words used. For example,
Chee Kiang is not stupid, he’s simple-minded.
You Yuan is not violent, he’s passionate.
Cher Han is not ugly, he just has inner beauty.
Jia Wei is not fat, he’s well-built.
I’m not stubborn, I’m resolute.
Jun Sheng isn’t sick, he’s just… sick (it’s the tone of your voice when you say it)
Haha…
Ciao!
