I have been enlightened…

Hey people, I’ve just realized that I’m just as narcissistic as Jun Sheng.

But first, lemme tell you a story. It’s the story of Narcissus (it’s where the word narcissistic comes from).

Our story begins in Thespiae, Greece.

Our hero, Narcissus, is renowned for his beauty. He is exceptionally cruel, disdaining those who love him. As divine punishment he falls in love with a reflection in a pool, not realizing it was his own, and perishes there, not being able to leave the beauty of his own reflection.

Sounds like JS right?

Well, I’m kinda like that too.

Just that I enjoy my own company too much.

Lol, there’s no better friend than yourself.

How do you expect others to enjoy your company unless you enjoy your own company?

Anyway, haven’t been updating much over the week.

Busy lah.

Not going to bore you with the details of my week, just what happened today ;)

Today was the best day of the week, Friday.

I splurged a little today.

Spent $3.10 on my food+drink. I had char kway teow (special fry) from the primary school, a chicken cutlet and barley.

This is when the crap started.

There are a few ways to get on my bad side, the first is stealing or messing with my food without my explicit permission, especially if I didn’t do anything to you.

Well Cher Han dipped his used chopsticks into my barley drink.

I got pissed.

So I splashed some barley on him, lol.

His shirt got sticky and sweet. But it was not that bad, I didn’t splash a lot of barley on him.

Then he poured laksa into my char kway teow.

I was really pissed, but I still ate it.

I would have hit him, but I didn’t want to lose my prefect badge.

But he’s not going to get off than easily.

For that, operation DAEDALUS will come into effect.

I originally did not want to use it, but Cher Han forced my hand.

Luckily all the preparations have been made, so all that’s left to do is actually very little.

An eye for an eye.

Anyway, sidetrack a bit, I am in dire need of some intelligence.

Intelligence as in information, not knowledge.

But the only one whom I can get the information from is not someone that I particularly like.

Bloody flummox.

Anyway, that’s about all for today, ciao!

Ain’t no mountain high enough!

Ello all you grubbers!

Been a while since I updated.

Apologies, as my previous post dictated, I was very busy this week.

Got a lot, so I’m going to organize everything by category!

Schoolwork & tests

Tests, tests and more tests.

You know how people have movie marathons and double features?

Cat High does it for tests…

Today there were two tests in a row followed by a third after a short respite…

Science (the first test) was reasonable. Bio-Chem is sooo much better than physics.

The Expo Essay test was next. I wrote about “the problems that a longer life expectancy has brought about and the possible solutions”. Not the exact phrasing, but close enough…

I wrote about 400+ words?

Some people like CK and Cher Han were damn bad…

They wrote that “old people are a burden to society”.

Damn bad…

I wrote about the “Increasing number of destitute elderly” and the “lack of facilities and services that cater to the needs of the elderly”.

I think I may be a bit screwed…

Hiax, wait for my essay to come back first then see lah…

Then last was the math test…

Whew!

Then the last period was IT.

We had cyber-safety lessons.

Today the guy talked about blogging!

Apparently, I’m an “Actor”

Don’t really know what that means.

Anyway, I was sick for two days, from Monday to Tuesday.

A lot of people sms-ed me to ask me how I was.

Thanks guys!

Then when I went back to school on Wednesday, I had my speech straight away…

I did okay I guess, but I couldn’t really engage the audience…

I mean how do you make jokes about euthanasia?

Then there was the geog test and the chinese compo test. The only thing that these two have in common is that I screwed both of them up =.=

Flummox!

CCA

There was debate yesterday…

I was “reinstated” back to my old position; third speaker.

I remember how much I dislike that position -__-

I gave all my good rebuttals to Shawn, and then I had crap for myself…

But if the coach wants me to be third, by gum I’ll be third!

Gotta be a little more flexible…

Tomorrow there’s training.

CK and HZ not going, they got Huamin open house.

Bloody hell -____-

Must be gratefull though, at least I’m going back for debate, not drama which coincidentally, is also having training tomorrow.

Today I was supposed to go for drama, but…

It was only for crew!

And I’m not crew!

So technically, technically, I did not skip it because I was not supposed to go in the first place. Technically speaking of course.

Lol…

Miscellaneous

I WANT TO JOIN THE PAP AND BECOME A MINISTER!!!!!!

Lol, that was random…

But I want to become a politician!

And there’s no way in hell that I’m going to join the workers party…

Okay, that’s all.

Exams are in a week people.

After that who wants to go out and have some fun?

Paint the town red, get drunk even (jkjk)!

Of course, that’s after the exams.

Must focus, must mug.

Lol. Ciao!

Fiddlesticks…

Fishpaste, gonna have to skip school tomorrow.

Just a little under the weather, normally I wouldn’t have let that stop me, but with H1N1 it’s best to be socially responsible.

Can someone tell me what I’m going to miss? Especially for geog.

Damn worried about the geog test.

Okay, today was quite sian.

Didn’t go for catechism class like benny because I was sick.

Nothing major thank you for asking but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

If it’s not bad enough that I’m sick, it would be worse if I infected anyone else.

Next week CCA resumes.

Crap.

The week hasn’t even started and already there’s a pile of rotten news…

Tests all next week, assembly back in the plaza and Adebayor has moved to Manchester City.

Nuts.

I liked Adebayor…

I’ll stop here; I don’t think anyone would like a gloomy end to their week.

Some good news would be in order now.

And the good news is; there is no news.

Well you know what they say, no news is good news. Lol…

Ciao.

Shouldn’t Have Had The Soup…

Hello folks!

Today I woke up with a frog in my throat and an aching body.

Must have been the soup.

Didn’t I tell you?

On Friday, during lunch, JS made a weird soup.

There was chicken bits, pearl, ice, amylase (from JS’s saliva) and some other crap that Cher Han added to it.

They dared me to drink it, and I did.

After I drank it, JS and I had a conversation which seems quite ironic now.

JS: Ewww. You are gonna get diarrhea!
Me: So if you don’t see me I school on Monday, you’ll know why.

Lol… I really shouldn’t have had the soup…

The good news is that I skipped church.

The bad news is that my mugging was affected.

Now I’m feeling a little better.

Watching Harry Potter.

There’s a math test on Monday, geog test on Tuesday, speech on Wednesday, PW on Thursday and science test on Friday.

Wow. Seems like next week is going to be interesting.

An opportunity to see how well prepared I am for the MR.

Next week CCA resumes.

Fish. Drama. I hate drama. I think that’s it’s a waste of time.

And I’m scared of the directors.

Because I’m not a very good actor, so I get screwed quite often.

I had nightmares before every drama training during SYF…

Debate is still the best…

Do you know one of the main reasons I went to Cat High instead of Dunman is because of debate?

Also I didn’t really like the sound of the name “Dunman” for some reason, lol…

Okay, just now, I tried to find a blogskin with the PAP emblem, but I couldn’t find anything.

Next I tried to find a blogskin with the Union Jack (UK flag) but I also couldn’t find it.

Lol, that was random.

Okay, ciao for now!

My 50th Post!

Hi people!

This is my 50th post! Hurray!

Hope there will be another 50 more to come.

Anyway, I love Fridays! It’s the slackest day!

Woots!

But today I had to wait ONE HOUR for JS to finish his bio-journal.

It pissed me off really badly.

And I was really sarcastic to him.

I feel a bit bad, wasn’t really being a good friend to him.

But I was hungry!

And studies show that men get angry faster when they are hungry…

After that we went BM.

Bobo and Wei Liang didn’t follow, so things weren’t as fun…

Unfortunately CCA starts next week, so more of this kind of outing isn’t going to be possible…

I wish CCA was on a day other than Friday lah, Friday is the only day I can relax and catch up with friends…

The Saturday also got debate.

Got two CCA’s really hard to cope…

I’m a MUGGERMUGGERMUGGERMUGGER!

And I’m proud of it.

I’m gonna make something out of my life.

Okay, back to BM.

After lunch we went to Bishan Park to chat.

CK and JS were talking about naruto.

I don’t know much about naruto, but Hinata is not as cute Chee Kiang makes her out to be…

We got bored after a while, so we decided to leave.

Originally, we wanted to go to CYY’s house (it was quite near where we were).

Then we would just call him and tell him that we were downstairs and that we were there for lunch. Lol…

But we decided not to in the end.

So we went walking barefoot over stones (we raced to see who could get to the end and back faster).

I won!

I was the only one who went the distance!

Then we went to the playground and climbed the rope thingy. I lost to JS narrowly.

At this point, Cher Han said
: Do you know what’s most important in life? Common sense. Do you think that I’m leading you in the right direction?

Then he pangseh-ed us.

We went off.

JS has a short attention span, less than 5 seconds long.

He kept flitting here there and everywhere. Lol…

Then we pranked Cher Han for revenge.

Won’t elaborate unless anyone wants me to.

I bought nuggets on my way home for my sister and mum and that was my day!

Tomorrow I’ll be mugging for the exams. So ciao!

Long day…

Today was a long day…

Tired out.

First thing in the morning when I reached school, got into an argument with Cher Han over PW.

I got freaking pissed off.

I shouted at him like some shit, damn loud.

Then I started laughing like some maniac.

I really lost it.

I managed to calm down without killing anyone, lol…

Apologised to Cher Han afterwards because it was partly my fault.

I now know what to do next time for projects when I group with Cher Han.

Give him all the crap one week before so he can do what he wants to do.

He’s the kind of last minute chiong type, like Chee Kiang and Jun Sheng…

And fast forward to PW, two groups went today.

I pray for their souls, they were viciously taken apart and destroyed.

They went down with all hands, no survivors.

She (the judge teacher) was absolutely brutal!

She asked leading questions. Like

She: so where did you get your information?
Group: Internet?
She: How do you know your information is valid?
Group: Errrr…

So her questions only had one answer. Or so she thinks…

We have prepared rebuttals.

Next time, she is not going to get away after bullying 2-3 like that.

I mean I wasn’t even presenting and I felt traumatized…

Christ!

For all the groups who presented today, thank you, for you have revealed a new enemy for the rest.

You will be avenged,

2-3, Revenge of the fallen.

Lol…

Anyway, after that I went for debate.

My speech today was quite okay!

Hao Zhe and I prepped together with CYY too.

Hao Zhe did okay too, but I should have passed some rebuttals to him.

It’s just that I only thought of them when I was on the floor…

Oh, and go listen to “My baby takes the morning train” by Sheena Easton. It’s nice!

Anyway, ciao for now! I’ll update on PW after our presentation.

Wish us luck!

So you had a bad day…

Today was a Class-A son of a b**** day.

Lessons were boring.

Tuition was boring.

Got ACC test...

Teachers spam homework.

Last episode of red thread…

At tuition people also damn dead, most of them…

Tomorrow got Chinese tuition, Thursday got debate.

But all debate competitions tio cancelled…

Side track a bit, my personal life now is in chaos…

I’m sort of like Denethor from LOTRs; I like to be in control.

I’m going to use a chess set for an analogy.

I’m losing the chess game, slowly but surely.

Piece by piece, eaten.

Crap, not good…

Better come up with a plan, and fast.

Actually, I think I already have something.

But it’s risky and reckless. Not my usual style…

Okay, back to my life story.

Got PW. Everything is due on Thursday, which is in a couple of days.

I feel like a pack mule. -Bitter smile-

But it’s okay, I’m used to it.

At the very least I’m not in the same group as “He Who Must Not Be Named”.

I came very close to that.

If I did, I would probably be dead by now (suicide; jumped off a 12 story building).

So I’m lucky in a sense.

Tomorrow there’s P.E.

Hope it’s gonna be fun.

It’s all that I’m looking forward to…

I need to get a life, lol...

Hiax, ciao.

Hey people!

Very busy with PW now.

The report+ppt presentation is due thursday.

So Jun Sheng and I are chiong-ing.

Cher Han is at home eating his mama's cooking and watching TV and our dear friend CK is busy doing God knows what.

Anyway, gtg now, really too busy to update further, bye!

My Sunday, gone like that…

I’ve been slogging all weekend.

I feel almost as bad as I did on Friday…

But at least I managed to clear all of my work.

I even finished my bio-journal!

I may post my topic on after I hand it up, maybe even the whole journal!

Just for the record btw, I’m doing something on sexual reproduction, lol…

Might as well make things more interesting since I have the choice.

Oh, I also ran 2.4 just now, so I’m really damn tired.

Okay, this was my day today.

Wake up
Catechism class
Lunch
Tuition
Rest
2.4
Work
Blog (now)

I have such an exciting life! Lol…

At least I have meaningful stuff to do.

It keeps me busy and numbs my mind.

Makes me feel like I’m doing something significant.

“A busy man is a happy man!”

The meaning of life is homework!

To quote George Orwell, “the greatest happiness in life is in working hard and living frugally.”

Lol. I’m gonna end up a workaholic, working 12 hour days.

I’m too tired to post anymore, and even if I wanted to post, I don’t have anything else to post.

I’ll try and post again tomorrow if my schedule allows it.

Got to get some groceries on the way back tomorrow.

Ciao!

So Much Homework!!!

So much homework!!

I’m practically drowning in it!

If I had to go for drama yesterday and debate today, I think I would have died!

I spent 4 hours doing everything and I’m still only halfway through!

Dear lord…

Oh, I left my science homework in school, so on Monday I need to chiong it in the morning.

In spite of all this work, I still feel quite fresh.

Nothing like some hard labor to make anyone’s day, lol…

Afterwards got church.

I don’t think I need to tell you how I feel about it.

I’m hardly the religious type; I think church just means a couple of hours wasted each week…

But that’s just me.

Hiax, last two weeks I had this time free to do work because of H1N1 (my parents didn’t want me to go).

Then tomorrow I have catechism class and tuition, so my day until about 1 is gone.

Ah well, “oft hope is born when all is forlorn”, I’ll get through this somehow, just like everyone else does, just like I always do.

And I have a RI school badge in my room btw. A friend gave it to me. It’s next to my “gong jiao” badge. They contrast very nicely, lol…

That was random…

Gtg, ciao for now!

TGIF!!!

It’s been two weeks since school officially re-opened.

I’m feeling quite shack…

Luckily today is Friday.

Unfortunately, I have a pile of homework to clear.

Life can be trying at times, but you just have to keep moving.

Today was fun (duh, Friday!).

We played Frisbee in P.E, our team won, 3-1 against CYY’s team! Hoho!

But beating them is just a cheap thrill; there are bigger fish in the sea.

But before that, we had the Lord of the Rings test.

I lost a couple of marks already…

Anyway, I took a LOTR’s quiz, apparently, I’m Gandalf!

“You are Gandalf! This wise, old mage is loyal and brave. He is known for his counsel and advice to his friends and allies during tough times.”

Anyway, the next interesting period was I.T. Mr. Rays is a fun guy, but a little eccentric.

But most guys are a little weird after NS, lol; I wonder what they do to you in there?

Anyway, we were originally released early, but because someone left some trash behind in the computer lab, we had to stay back until the official release time.

But that’s okay, I anticipated that. Our class always screws up an early release, lol…

Now, after we were released, that’s where the real fun begins.

We (Jun Sheng, CK, Cher Han, Bobo, Yun Da and I) went for lunch.

Whenever we have a meal together, our table is “never quiet” according to Jun Sheng.

Always a barrel of laughs ^^

But we forgot to get Benny and a few other people.

And some others could not make it…

That’s what you get for having last minute lunches.

But we made do; at least there were no gatecrashers.

After lunch, CK and Yun Da left for CCA. I didn’t go for drama because I would just be lounging in a corner wasting my time while the cast does their thing.

So the rest of us went to Bishan Park to talk.

And some of them tried to play a prank.

Can’t say I approved of that…

Then JS said “Eh Sheldon don’t be like that leh!”

Then Cher Han also said that I was overly cautious.

I admit that I am too cautious at times. But I only act in everyone’s best interests.

I hope you can see me as trying to do that instead of spoiling your fun or being a wet blanket.

It’s just in my nature; I have a good sense of self-preservation.

And trust me, I know what I’m doing, I’ve lived through a similar situation before…

So please, have your fun by all means, but don’t get drunk in it.

Anyway, I left for home around 3+, late 3?

I managed to finish reading Imperfect Justice.

It’s not a half bad book.

I like some of the concepts of justice explored in the book as well as the lawyer talk.

But the minor side plots accompanying it can be a bit distracting…

“Equal Justice under Law”

Really?

I’d like to think so, but I’m not an idealist.

I’m pragmatic, an “optimistic pessimist” or so I like to think.

I just can’t believe in this sort of talk...

Anyway, I’ve said enough for today, going to go before I get too long winded. Lol…

Ciao!

Back to your regular posts!

Hi people!

I changed my blogskin back!

I think I prefer this blogskin...

PW presentation is coming, next week Thursday to be precise.

I’m not too worried although there’s still a lot still undone.

We have a “come-back king” in our group (Cher Han).

He is damn zai at last minute work.

Anyway, that blog post earlier was a very small part of our hands on. (Don’t copy!)

Anyway, yesterday was slack.

All Tuesdays are slack.

But our PE+Geog teacher pumped us. She’s a bit “niao” as she herself said.

I wish Mr. Goh was still our PE teacher; he was such a nice guy…

Anyway, that was yesterday.

Today was fun!

OJS, Chee Kiang, Cher Han, Melvin and me went to eat lunch at bishan market.

CK and I had debate training at 3.30.

CK was a little emo along the way, but Melvin’s jokes cheered him up.

Melvin’s a life-saver. Oh, and we saw Mr. eeL kaH nooB (read backwards).

He was at BM when he was supposed to be in school.

Not going to comment further lest I get into deep trouble…

Lunch was fantastic.

I had chicken rice and some blueberry drink (that stuff is going to kill me someday).

Anyway, the food was decent but the company was great!

We talked about very entertaining things and people (guess who?).

But when we got a sms from Hao Zhe saying that debate training had started, Ck and I had to rush off (sorry guys!)

Jun Sheng was very obviously disappointed at our premature departure, lol…

We have great fun every time we go to lunch or dinner.

Pity we had to leave early…

Nothing like a meal with friends to relax you.

And speaking of Friends, I’m watching it now.

Chandler is hilarious…

Anyway, just got back from debate training.

I screwed up majorly…

Don’t know why.

But I get damn frustrated when I screw up…

Hiax…

Anyway, got homework and PW to do.

I promised Ms Rai (our teacher mentor) she’d get it by tomorrow.

I don’t know how I’m going to do it, but tomorrow she’s going to get a decent piece of work in size 11 times new roman, single spacing. Lol…

Anyway, gtg now, ciao!

Special Post for PW

Hey people!

This will be a special post for PW (my group is doing childhood obesity).

After that, your regular posts will resume.

Childhood obesity is a condition where excess body fat negatively affects a child's health or well-being. The diagnosis of obesity is often based on BMI (Body Mass Index). A BMI of 18.5 to 25 indicates optimal weight; anything above 25 indicates the person is overweight, while a number above 30 suggests the person is obese. Any person with a BMI above 40 is considered morbidly obese. Due to the rising prevalence of obesity in children and its many adverse health effects, it is being recognized as a serious public health concern.

10% of children worldwide are either overweight or obese. Of these, about 70% grow up to become obese adults. Obesity in childhood is known to have significant impact on both physical and psychological health. Environmental factors, lifestyle preferences, cultural and environmental influences play pivotal roles in the rising prevalence of obesity worldwide. In general, obesity is assumed to be the results of an increase in caloric and fat intake. There is supporting evidence that excessive sugar intake through the consumption of soft drinks, increased portion size, and a steady decline in physical activity are all contributing factors fueling the rapidly rising rates of obesity all around the world.

The main causes of childhood obesity in general can be attributed to a decline in physical activity and an ever available supply of energy-dense, nutrient poor food.

Tips to stay at an acceptable weight:
-Eat only until you are 80% full
-30 minutes of brisk walking 3 times a week
-Have a healthy snack if you fell hungry between meals. E.g. fruits
-include more whole grains and fiber in your diet.

God Save the Queen!

Today was a reasonably good day.

I’ll tell some of you in school tomorrow.

I think I suffer bipolar disorder sometimes…

Today I’m happy, but another day I’m emo as hell.

But I can take pride in the fact that I can always keep looking on the bright side of things! XD

Lessons today were kinda boring by any standard…

But ACC was fun as usual.

The teacher is nice…

I managed to finish most of my homework before I went for my tuition.

Took me about an hour?

But I still need to think of a topic for my bio-journal.

I have some pretty sick ideas, lol…–Evil smile-

And some normal ones. -___-

Not going to post any of my genius ideas here, lol

Before tuition I went to popular to browse.

There are some good books, but they are priced out of my budget.

I mean my pockets are by no means shallow, but 50 bucks for a book is just ridiculous!

Guess you can’t put a price on knowledge.

Okay, now I’m reading a book called imperfect justice. It seems cool enough, but I’ve only read the 1st 70 pages or so.

Now I’m going to sidetrack and be random.

Thursday got debate training again (yeah).

But my competitions were cancelled (crass).

If Beurels is still on, I’m going to try my best to win it as well as best speaker of series.

Yew Loong got it last year I think, or was it Wesley?

In any case, I’m going to try and win something for Queen and Country! Haha!

But I’m not getting my hopes up. Three of my competitions have already been cancelled or postponed.

If Beurels gets cancelled, hoho, I’m going to go crazy.

I watched had a very nice drink with my dinner. I concocted it myself

I had apple juice mixed with 7-Up and lemon.

Tangy and sweet!

Friend’s episode today was cool.

Almost missed it because I went back from tuition later than usual.

The teacher there is nice enough, one of the nicer ones in the business definitely.

Anyway, I’m very tired and I’m getting random, so bye!

God Save the Queen! lol...

Happy Youth Day!

Happy youth day people!

Hope your holiday has been going well so far!

Mine has been quite productive.

I have one chinese compo, one English compre and now one blog post under my belt.

Tomorrow got tuition, a chance for me to try a new approach. –Evil laugh-

Either that or start appealing against section 377A (Anti-Gay law) –Wicked smile-

I think I’ll try a new approach; a “Brenda” is preferable to “Bill”, lol.

Anyway today was quite mundane, woke up at 10, felt damn shuang!

Got cracking on my homework, still have quite a big pile to clear. –Frown-

Afterwards there’s Friends!

I think I’m most like Ross. According to this quiz, (http://www.brainfall.com/quizzes/which-friends-character-are-you/) I’m right!

“You are Ross. You're intelligent and adored by your parents. However, your lack of social skills causes you to talk too much and try too hard. While your friends pick on you for your nerdiness, they better watch out for your rage.”

Ah, well, I’m gonna try that new approach I was talking about and I’ll see where it takes me. I mean what’s the worse that could happen?

My life has been kinda boring today. Who wants to go to the library sometime to get some books on Bio?

CK? HZ? It’s on the route home for you... Maybe Cher Han would want to go to skip scouts, lol…

Still need to talk to Mr. Goh (Kee Yong) about Drama and Debate.

I like debate soooooooo much!

It makes me sound all profound and knowledgeable.

Like, “this policy should not be mutually exclusive to…”

It is so cool!

Unlike drama -__-

Now I’m listening to a Michael Jackson song “You are not alone”.

I still think that he’s creepy, but some of his songs are okay.

I like old songs.

There is more meaning in their lyrics and the tune is more soothing.

Lionel Ritchie’s “Easy” is also good.

In fact, Kenny Rogers “The Gambler” is also quite good.

Good music is like good food, it makes you feel warm and fuzzy.

Watching Tom and Jerry too.

Reminds me of when I was younger and things were less complicated. lol...

Anyway, getting random now.

Ciao!

My Social Skills…

After seeing CK’s blog, I’m gonna do a quick post.

I completely understand his frustration at being in an all boy’s school.

But I’m in an even worse situation.

I’ve never wanted to admit it, but I’m as good around girls as a chimpanzee around pineapples.

Or even Cher Han at a beauty pageant.

Point? I stink with boy-girl interactions.

There’s a name for people like me. But it’s too vulgar to post here.

I think CK and I, along with 90% of all cat high boys are either going to end up as 70 year old virgins, or gay.

And right now, the scary thing, is that being gay looks more appealing than the first option.

Lol.

I need to overhaul my system man; maybe I just need a different approach.

If the “gentlemen” approach doesn’t work, maybe the “supremely extra” one will?

I’m just thinking out loud here, don’t mind me.

I choke up every time I get near a girl. It happened twice today for Christ’s sake!

Dude, I need to be a lot more thick skinned…

Maybe like Nan Zheng?

Lol…

This may seem like another emo post, but rest assured, I’m of sound mind and good spirit.

I’m just trying to make a not-so-funny-situation seem slightly humorous. –Smile-

I think instead of trying to play chess with girls (planning my next move for a day each time), I’m just going to go with the flow. What’s the worse that could happen?

Let’s take a look at what’s the worse that could happen if I don’t do this.

Fast forward 20 years

I’m sitting at a bar.

A cute girl walks past me. Bee stung lips, long legs and silky hair. The whole package.

I don’t even take a glance.

Instead, I’m ogling at a guy who looks like he’s been eating steroids for dinner everyday for the past year.

His biceps are the size of your dinner table. Okay, too much information!!

My eyes!!!!! OMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!

Whoa! Okay, that was scary. I should have gone to Dunman, lol…

Ah well, all’s well that ends better.

No good deed goes unpunished or bad deed unrewarded.

Just gonna do my best for everything and see where that takes me.

But just to be safe, I’d better get the phone numbers of hot guys too, LMAO!!! Jkjk…

I think I’ll just stick to girls, lol…

Ciao for now!

Let's put a smile on that face!

The Last Children…

Before I move on to my life story, I want to talk about a book I read, it’s called “The Last Children”.

It’s a story about how the whole world is engulfed in nuclear war and almost everyone dies.

The story is told for a 13 year old survivor’s POV (Point Of View).

It’s a profoundly moving book.

Though short, it manages to get its message across.

I got damn pissed at my father because he tired talking to me while I was reading.

It’s ridiculous I know, but some books are just that engaging.

It’s very graphic and descriptive. The author chooses his words carefully to leave maximum impact on his audience.

I almost cried while reading it…

After reading that, all the more I want to be a member of the PAP, maybe even Singapore’s representative to the UN. It’s the only way to make a difference.

You should really read it, it’s very interesting!

And I fully respect your right to disagree with me on whether or not this book is good, so long as you understand that I'm right and you're wrong. Lol…

Anyway, had catechism class again (some church stuff). Don’t really approve of all this religion stuff. God is Santa Claus for adults =.=

Anyway, every time I go for it, I come back feeling pissed off…

Not going to say why, a little personal. But some of you should know…

Afterwards I’m going to run 2.4 to get rid of this frustration…

Still got a whole pile of homework to do.

Anyway another one of my competitions was cancelled…

I should be in school prepping tomorrow…

I needed those competitions to prove myself!

Especially after VJs last year…

God, I can’t believe that I screwed up on such a scale!

It was really a baptism of fire for me…

I have improved since then I hope. Now I’m no longer third speaker! Yay!

Just finished tuition, very shack. Afterwards there’s war of the worlds on channel 5.

I love bio. It’s so much easier than physics and the teacher is slightly more fun (sorry Mr. Ng).

Maybe I’ll post again later.

Bye for now.

A B-E-A-utiful Day!

Yesterday was fantastic!

Almost a perfect day!

School was okay, PE we played Frisbee Soccer!

We drew, 1-1.

But _______ had to stick to us…

We had a little fun dropping innuendos, but nothing too direct or inappropriate (wouldn’t want to hurt his feelings).

Then everything was fine until IT.

I stole Chee Kiang's computer.

Then when I went to see the teacher, he stole it back.

I got pissed because I forgot that I was the one who stole the computer from him in the first place.

Then when he opened MSN and started chatting, I spammed Hao Zhe for revenge.

But “Hao Zhe” turned out to be Dianne.

I forgot that HZ was still in class (still in holiday mindset).

CK was kinda pissed at me for a while, but luckily things worked out.

Anyway, we kept yesterdays outing hush-hush.

So HE didn’t find out.

The whole mood of the outing was so much better.

So, after school, we went to settle some PW stuff.

Then we went to Mac to eat.

But Mac was packed (hey it rhymes!)

So we da-bao-ed and went to eat outside.

So me, JS, CK and Cher Han went to eat outside the “hei dian”.

It was so fun!

We talked about all kinds of random stuff.

How we met was something we talked about heavily (good times, good times!)

I remember that in the beginning, I kept mixing up CK and Cher Han.

And I thought that JS was a fun gay, I mean guy, but a little weird…

Oh, remember how Cher Han was always “tao-pok-ed”, until Mrs Lim saw You Kuan doing it and put a stop to it.

We also talked about our first best friends and first enemies (this was also a topic we talked about during dinner)

It was damn nice!

I have a bunch of really nice friends!

Okay, so after a call from Bobo, we walked over to J8 to take the MRT.

Fast forward to the movie because nothing else happened that was faintly interesting.

The movie was kick-ass-awesome!

Not the most fascinating storyline, but it was still freaking cool!

The action was heart-stopping. The part where Optimus Prime (spoiler alert!) died was freaking cool!

The part where the aircraft carrier was trashed was also cool!

During the movie it was damn cold, CK asked for my jacket which I did not have.

A few people also went to the toilet during the movie, a little disrupting.

After the movie, Cher Han, CK and Raynor left while You Xin, Bobo, Wei Liang, JS and I stayed for dinner.

We walked all over the place before deciding on a place to eat.

Some of us bought “liang cha” to drink while we were walking around (I started it). I did it because I didn’t want to get a sore throat.

Okay, we went for dinner at a hawker centre. It has old school charm man!

We couldn’t find a seat inside the hawker centre itself, so we sat at the stone benches and tables outside. The sunset yesterday was B-E-A-utiful!

I was the only one who volunteered to look after the bags while the others went to buy food first. I feel like such a good person…

We all had Japanese food for dinner, I had beef rice.

Not the best but not bad for hawker fare. Mine cost $3.50 so the prices were quite reasonable too.

We had a toast before we ate. We drank to Megan Fox’s health, lol (inside joke).

Then we talked more about our history (what our first impressions of each other were, who our first enemies were etc).

It was damn cool, eating under stars (lol) and talking to friends.

Then after that we talked about what JS’s biography would look like (I started it, lol), it was freaking funny!

We talked about did Mr Lee Hak Boon (God save him) and Megan Fox (again an inside reference).

Then we talked about more random stuff until about 8.35?

We had dinner from about 7-8.35. But the time seemed to pass so fast!

This is what I call quality time with friends.

A pity Cher Han and Chee Kiang weren’t there. It would have been even more fun if they had been around.

Anyway, after dinner we walked back to AMK hub, but outside of AMK hub, hang-ten was having a sale and the group stopped there to see the shirts on discount. I wanted to watch the 9-o-clock channel 8 show (the ultimanium) so I left first.

And that was my day.

“It’s the best day e-v-a!
Echo:
Best day e-v-a”

Repeat 10 times more until the tune gets stuck in your head.

That’s the SpongeBob song, “it’s the best day ever”

But yesterday really was one of the best days ever for me…

This has been a very long post, but it was a great day deserves a long post!

Anyway, ciao!

New Post!

People!

I’m back!

Haven’t posted in a couple of days. Been busy. As a matter of fact, I still am…

Today we (CK, HZ and NZ) went to see Mr. Krishnan.

He's a really nice guy ^^

He helped us pay for IMUN.

After that I talked to Mdm Jasmine about my CCA commitments...

Things worked out all right.

Got quite a bit of homework…

Some of the teachers gave us homework without even introducing themselves. Lol.

Some people also invited themselves to private events… No lol…

Basic manners, ask someone if you can go for something before you actually do?

There’s been a lot of unhappiness over this. Hopefully this can be resolved soon. (I don’t know how)

It’s very complicated; I think it could have even started in sec 1.

Now there are two camps, those for the direct approach and those for the less direct approach.

I am the only one in the “less direct approach” camp (this should tell you how bad the situation is)

I really don’t know what to do now…

Every option seems to have some repercussions, and the one who gets it worse is him.

I mean I agree with JS in the sense that this can’t continue, but we disagree where the solution is concerned.

It would be all too easy for me to take the direct approach, but I know how it feels like to be on the receiving end…

No one deserves that…

So I guess we will just have to be more discreet when we plan outings next time. That’s what I suggested on Monday but evidently, no one bothered…

That’s the only way that won’t hurt him I guess.

Cher Han said that I was being too cautious. I admit that, but caution is not necessarily a bad thing.

And my position in this is STRICTLY NEUTRAL!

I will not participate in any the bullying or ostracizing of anyone.

So if there is anything you need to do, count me out unless it that action meets at least two of the criteria below.

1) Has been approved by Mrs. Lim
2) Will not hurt any of the parties involved
3) The action’s opportunity cost is vastly out weighed by the benefits, not just to us but also to him.

Apart from dialogue and discussion of the options at hand, I will not do anything else.

There’s an outing tomorrow.

It’s been kept a secret.

So hopefully there won’t be any unpleasant occurrences.

But if Monday’s scenario is repeated, I don’t think that I can stop everyone from doing what they want.

By the democratic process alone I have lost, and democracy must always be respected even if it produces leaders like Hitler…

Anyway, whatever happens, it’s not going to be pretty.

I feel like China protecting North-Korea from the West…

But N-K needs all the protection it can get, because this N-K has no nukes, no million men army.

Just a leader who pisses everyone off.

Wonder if you agree with my analogy.

Anyway, just a last warning, the “direct approach” that you are so in favor of will only lead to your destruction and his and I cannot stand for it.

Please, be discreet, there is no need for such a radical and drastic approach.

That’s all I have to say. The reason I have posted so much on this topic is because there is a risk that it will blow up and split our class wide open.

I want 1 2-3, not 2 or 3 2-3s…

This will be my last post on this matter.

If people aren't convinced by now that the direct approach is cruel, then they never will be.

That’s all I have to say…

Ciao…

I will never hurt another person intentionally, allow another person to hurt me or intervene in the conflicts of other people.
