The Last Children…
Before I move on to my life story, I want to talk about a book I read, it’s called “The Last Children”.
It’s a story about how the whole world is engulfed in nuclear war and almost everyone dies.
The story is told for a 13 year old survivor’s POV (Point Of View).
It’s a profoundly moving book.
Though short, it manages to get its message across.
I got damn pissed at my father because he tired talking to me while I was reading.
It’s ridiculous I know, but some books are just that engaging.
It’s very graphic and descriptive. The author chooses his words carefully to leave maximum impact on his audience.
I almost cried while reading it…
After reading that, all the more I want to be a member of the PAP, maybe even Singapore’s representative to the UN. It’s the only way to make a difference.
You should really read it, it’s very interesting!
And I fully respect your right to disagree with me on whether or not this book is good, so long as you understand that I'm right and you're wrong. Lol…
Anyway, had catechism class again (some church stuff). Don’t really approve of all this religion stuff. God is Santa Claus for adults =.=
Anyway, every time I go for it, I come back feeling pissed off…
Not going to say why, a little personal. But some of you should know…
Afterwards I’m going to run 2.4 to get rid of this frustration…
Still got a whole pile of homework to do.
Anyway another one of my competitions was cancelled…
I should be in school prepping tomorrow…
I needed those competitions to prove myself!
Especially after VJs last year…
God, I can’t believe that I screwed up on such a scale!
It was really a baptism of fire for me…
I have improved since then I hope. Now I’m no longer third speaker! Yay!
Just finished tuition, very shack. Afterwards there’s war of the worlds on channel 5.
I love bio. It’s so much easier than physics and the teacher is slightly more fun (sorry Mr. Ng).
Maybe I’ll post again later.
Bye for now.
