My Life Story…

Yesterday was the first day of school as well as the esplanade concert.

Both were letdowns…

School was kinda boring yesterday and today as well.

Our new math teacher is okay lah, but a bit like an army officer. I was like “CK, I bet you $5 that he was an officer in the army”

His voice is damn loud!

Then our science teacher seems okay but also a bit weird…

Our Geog teacher is the same as our PE teacher. I think I am dead for Geog, but I also don’t know, see how the next few lessons go first…

The esplanade concert was boring…

Hao Ran (whom I was sitting next to) actually fell asleep. Can’t blame him, it was boring…

But I want to touch a little about something that has been bothering quite a few people as a result of one guy’s actions.

I must admit that I’m not particularly fond of him, nor can I condone his actions that day (Monday). I must, however, urge restraint for all parties involved. Blowing up this matter at a moment’s impulse will not do any one any good. We must deal cautiously with this matter in order to minimize the damage done to all parties involved as well as to minimize the fallout from this incident.

I can understand the deep frustration that the parties have with the person involved; however I still must urge caution and restraint as this is a very sensitive issue. Please act responsibly and do not embark on any extreme courses of action. Even though that person’s action may not be commendable, we should not “repay” him by being uncivil in return. I believe we are above all this petty squabbling.

I am a pacifist by nature. This should explain my accommodative policies. I sincerely hope that this matter can be resolve with minimum damage done to all parties. After all, if you were to look at him as a human being first and foremost, and _______ second, then I believe we can work together to find policy that is beneficial to all.

That is all I have to say pertaining to that matter. This has always been my stand and this will always be my stand. This outlook will form the basis of all my policies pertaining to this matter. I will never hurt another person intentionally, allow another person to hurt me or intervene in the conflicts of other people.

That is something I try to live by. Neutrality is indeed the best approach.

Ciao for now.

Just a Quickie…

Just a quick post before I retire for the night.

I’m watching Courage the Cowardly Dog. (it’s a cartoon)

It helps to relax me.

Slightly over 10 hours till school officially resumes tomorrow.

Feeling a little bit excited and depressed.

Just finished packing my bag.

Got all my stuff ready (I think…)

Are you ready for a new school term?

I’m not sure if I am…

Anyway, going to sleep now, have a good nights rest on the last day of your holidays!

Ciao!

H1N1 Spoils My Fun -___-

H1N1 is spoiling my fun!

2 of my debate competitions were cancelled,

Tomorrow I may not be able to go for dinner before the esplanade concert.

In fact, I may not be able to go for the concert period…

I think people are over-reacting…

There’s nothing we can do to stop the spread of this virus.

So how now?

Live with it people!

The only reason that this new virus is so contagious is because it’s new and people have no resistance to it. If we all be socially responsible and increase our hygiene standards, we will be fine. There is very little else that we can do. Running around like headless chickens worrying won’t get us anywhere. Being paranoid will only push us further back.

So please people, don’t over react. Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it won’t get you anywhere.

After my very emo previous post, I’m not going to bore you to death with this one. I’m gonna move on to a lighter topics.

I woke up at 8 today to go for catechism class (some church stuff). I don’t really like it, but there are some really pretty girls there (Tricia XD). Unfortunately, the first thing I see when I get there is her talking to my archenemy (I’m being very melodramatic here). I wanted to laugh and cry, but in the end, I just settled for talking to my friend about random stuff…

That was a damn unlucky and unwanted start to the last day of my holiday…

Luckily, afterwards was slightly better.

I watched Friends! XD

Damn funny! Joey and Ross started fighting over a girl (not very pretty to me…).

Then they started suan-ing each other.

I’ll give you the URL afterwards, go watch it. It’s really funny!

Ross and Joey spar (verbally) with each other. Lol, they are much better than anyone I know(sorry Mr Loo)

It’s very interesting because Ross was once married to a lesbian, lol. Joey insults him on that btw…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPo501UxOh0&feature=related

I’m gonna keep posting funny Friends moments on my blog btw, gotta share my joy with the world!

And the next part has to do with the esplanade concert. There will be a dinner before the concert (invitation only). The invitation is posted below as is the list of people invited. If your names not there then sorry, either I don’t like you or you don’t like me. Lol, jkjk...

But seriously, this is kinda like a little bit exclusive (for our clique as Jun Sheng likes to call it), so even if your name is not here, please don’t feel offended. Contact me if you want to go, I’ll see if I can make arrangements.

The guest list is;
Tan Cher Han
Lim Boh Jun
Tan Wei Liang
Tong You Xin
Melvin Lim
Sheldon Lim
Ong Chee Kiang
Ong Jun Sheng

Dear Sir/Madam/Whatever Else You May Be

You are cordially invited to a dinner and cocktail party (Coke +7-Up+Pepsi), on Monday the 29th of June, at 5pm. Please be at the venue by 4.45. Dinner will be followed by a concert, Elegance a la Esplanade. A program of events will be issued to you upon your arrival. Dress code is smart casual (I actually have no idea what this means, I just put that in to make this invitation look more impressive, but all you really need is to look presentable. Meaning, don’t come in something that Cher Han would wear.)

On behalf of myself, I look forward to your attendance.

Mr. S. Lim, secretary to Mr. S. Lim

Is the invitation nice?

It looks damn formal!

Okay anyway further details will be discussed tomorrow. I’m open to expanding the guest list. However, only people, at the recommendation of the already invited members will be allowed to join. Of course the decision will also be subject to a 2/3s majority approval of the invited members.

Am I making this sound too exclusive? Sorry, it’s a “fetish” of mine. I like things with class and exclusivity. That’s why I have a set of drinking glasses at home and a reason why I joined debate. I have a champagne glass at home ;)

Anyway, I’ll see you guys tomorrow (whether I want to or not…)

So ciao for now!

Emo -.-

Feeling emo now, so I’m gonna do a post.

The euphoria I felt after watching Friends is wearing off…

Now I’m listening to old, emo songs…

Now I have no friends to talk to (they are offline and school hasn’t started…).

For the first time, I am actually wishing that school has started. I won’t have to wait long -__-

Anyway, I’ve been thinking.

Mostly about random stuff.

But also about some serious shit.

Something that someone said at debate training (I can’t remember who) is bothering me.

So I’m going to use this post to reflect on that.

Bear with me; I know that my life story is not particularly entertaining…

This is how that conversation went.

Yew Loong: Btw, Tiffany was at IMUN.

Me: OMFG! OMFG! WTH didn’t I go???

*Someone: I thought you said you were over her?

*Yew Loong: If he were, would he have reacted so strongly?

*The stuff in bold is what’s troubling me.

Okay. I thought that I had settled this a very long time ago, believe me.

Apparently, as that little conversation has very obviously shown, pretty much nothing has changed -__-

That also reminded me that it’s been almost a year to the day since I met Tiffany.

And if I still haven’t gotten over this, then I have a SERIOUS PROBLEM…

I don’t need you to tell me that.

Hiax, so how now?

What to do?

I’m thinking,

And thinking,

And I have no clue whatsoever…

Give me some suggestions.

But then again…

Maybe I’m not meant to get over her…

First love always hurts; the Romans called it “tarantula's bite”. Why? It hurts like hell, but it doesn’t kill you. You know what they say, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”…

I actually have the date I met her marked in my calendar. You can check my phone if you don’t believe me. –Laugh-

All the girls I’ve had a crush on A.T (After Tiffany) have looked remarkably like her.

At this point, if you think I have a problem, I would probably agree with you.

Okay, I’ve gotten what I wanted to say off my chest and I feel A LOT better. Sorry for the rambling.

I may take this post down in a bit; it’s kinda personal and sensitive. Or I may not. It depends on YOUR reactions. So be a man, do the right thing. Don’t spam my tag box with ridiculous comments.

Also, this is the closest that you will ever come to getting me to reveal what I am really thinking inside. Make what you will off it. And if you are wondering why I posted this, I’m not really one to hide anything (unless the secret is not mine to divulge). I posted this to get it off my chest. It’s been eating at me forever…

I might, MIGHT post a picture of Tiffany. I dunno…

But in conclusion, I just want to say it’s been a really enriching experience. I’ve grown up a lot since this incident. Hah, I feel so much better now after getting this off my chest.

Gonna end with the lyrics of a song I’ve been listening to.

They say that all good things must end
Loves comes and goes just like the wind
You've got your dreams to follow
But if I had the chance tomorrow
You know I'd do it all again

I wouldn't have missed it for the world
Wouldn't have missed loving you girl
You've made my whole life worth while, with your smile
I wouldn't trade one memory
Cause you mean too much to me
Even though I lost you girl
I wouldn't have missed it for the world

This has been a VERY long and emo post, so if you’ve even bothered to read until here, thanks.

I hope you know me better as a result of this post! ;)

Ciao!

P.S What’s in this blog stays in this blog please. Don’t start spamming me in school about this.
P.S.S Thanks.

Let's put a smile on that face!

Friends!

Hi people!

One day and 11 hours more till school reopens :(

I’ve done all of my homework (I think).

Today I slacked damn lot, got no mood to study…

Just had lunch, feel a little sleepy…

Still can't believe school is going to start soon.

I mean the holidays just flew by so fast!

When school starts again, it means no more late nights, no more late night suppers, no more sleeping in till 12 noon and the list goes on... =.=

Okay now I’m going through a phase where I am crazy about Friends (the sitcom).

So I’m going to upload a video!

It’s a snippet of yesterday’s episode. It’s damn funny, must watch!

It’s contains some sexual humor though and some slightly incestuous content.

“The owner and proprietor of this blog wishes to state that the following content has been rated PG for sexual humor. Parental guidance is advised for small kids and big babies (Chee Kiang and CYY fall into this category lol, jkjk).”

The guy is called Ross, and the girl is his cousin.

That, is what we would call a major faux pass. Lmao!

Okay, screw it, I can't upload, so I'll give you guys the URL instead.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvDycw21Q-k

And this is just some extra stuff, also from friends, also very funny.

It's when two guys, Ross and Joey, date the same girl and don't know it. Yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYD2499sbMQ&feature=related

Oh, and since your watching those, watch this as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG9NrRxESSY&feature=related

Got some gay shit inside, lol. Friends is damn funny!!!

Anyway, ciao for now.

Quick Updates

Okay, just some quick updates.

1st, U14s is postponed indefinitely due to H1N1 (read: cancelled)

Everyone is damn crushed.

Buerels and Hwa Chong Invites may also be scrapped. Our debate season may be gone just like that…

2nd, Michael Jackson’s death.

I personally never really liked that guy, but since he’s dead now, what the heck!

3rd, everyone seems to have started mugging again…

School is going to start soon; I’d better get back into “Chiong” mode again…

How I wish that the holidays could last forever!

And I realize that my tag box is quite dead…

People, if you come please tag! Anything will do, even random stuff like “You Yuan is my real father” or something…

I realize that this has been quite a short post, but I don’t really have much to update on.

Bloody H1N1…

Ciao!

Random Post

Okay, okay, I just found a really cool quiz on the internet!

Go to this URL,

http://www.youthink.com/quiz.cfm?action=go_detail&sub_action=take&obj_id=144552&filter=popular&f_cat_id=-1&time_span=latest

It’s a “what’s your flirt type” quiz.

I got:

Friend First
You'd rather date a friend than a stranger. So you try to become friends with everyone, just in case. You've got a great flirt technique going on. You realize that friends are more important than dates, and you'll move a little slowly in the romance game if it means keeping everyone your pal. Where could it go wrong? Well, your crushes might not even realize that you like them as more than a friend. Be their friends, but don't be shy with your feelings, you know? Especially if your friends are hot.

Roses are red, Violets are… Yellow?

Hi people!

Today we had debate. Only one more training session before MGS U14s.

But you guys probably know that already, I’ve been going on and on about that for a while…

NanYang is our first opponent btw…

Today we did THB in trial by jury.

We were a bit screwed.

I dropped a point and had to restart my speech because I had too many ladies and gentlemen…

During prep we were talking crap most of the time… All Nan Zheng and Chee Kiangs fault, even I got sidetracked…

We saw Jun Sheng ad Andrew during prep.

Jun Sheng was wearing the same set of PE he was wearing yesterday, lol…

Afterwards got tuition, tomorrow I’m free. Who wants to go watch transformers with me?

Anyone?

Oh, and on my way to debate training I saw a dead pigeon.

It got run over by a car (I know because there were brake marks before the body)

Then its guts were like spilling out and there was blood near its beak. I think it coughed out blood before it died…

It looked damn disgusting, but also cool.

Now I’ll end with a joke.

"A joke a day keeps Physics away!"

“What's the difference between an onion and a dead Chee Kiang?

I cried when I cut up the onion.”

Movie Fiesta!

Today was movie day!

Met Bobo and company at AMK Hub.

We had pepper lunch for lunch. It was delicious! A bit pricy, but delicious.

I had beef as did Chee Kiang.

You Xin joined us halfway, but he had already eaten.

After that we went to buy the tickets for the movie, Bobo got pangseh-ed, lol.

He went up the escalator, then I was behind him. Then after he got on, we zao-ed. We went up after a while (because we knew he would go down looking for us, and he did!)

Then we went to watch “Ghosts of Girlfriend’s Past”

It was quite a decent show, quite funny (and to a certain extent informative).

After that, Bobo wanted to go play basketball at his house. At first I wanted to go, but then…

Bobo: You guys want to go play basketball?

Me and Jun Sheng: Okay!

CK: Wait a minute! Now is 5.30, by the time you get there, it will be 5.45, then we start it will be 6.00. Then we play until 6.30, and then we get to the MRT station 6.45, then 7.15 we reach home, what’s the point?

Me: Yeah! But then Bobo can be home by 6.30 because we are playing at his house! Let’s go home and eat our moma’s cooking!

Everyone: Yeah lah!

Then everyone went home…

You Xin and I took a train together for a while.

And that was my day!

Tomorrow got debate training and tuition.

Ah well, ciao!

Quickie…

Okay, just a quickie before I leave for AMK hub.

Today, as you all know, we (CK, Bobo, Wei Liang, You Xin, Jun Sheng and I) will be going to watch a movie.

Yesterday Chee Kiang agreed to follow us. This was the rather messy process.

Friday?

Me: Chee Kiang, you want to go watch a movie on Monday?

CK: I no money liao, don’t want to go…

Sunday (yesterday)

Me: You sure you don’t want to go for a movie tomorrow?

CK: What movie? Why got movie never ask me?

Me: The movie which I asked you about on Friday?

CK: Ohhhh…

Lol, damn comedic. CK is a joker…

Anyway, I’ll post again later, gtg now, adieu!

What a Day…

Today was like, woah... Totally awesome…

In the morning I had tuition (not so awesome), from 12-2.

After that received a call from Bobo, asking me to join them for a bite before going to play…

So I immediately rushed to AMK hub and I met them at “New York, New York”.

The food there is damn expensive, but the portions are quite generous. Also some of the items on the menu are quite tasty… (I would recommend the teriyaki chicken. The portions are slightly smaller but it tastes delicious.)

Boh Jun bought a “chocolate mocha”? He got scammed…

$6.90+GST+Service Charge, all for one small cup that was only half filled…

I had plain water, lol. Then I paid You Xin $2 for a piece of his chicken. I don’t particularly enjoy chicken but that was not bad… Not bad, but not excellent (I’m not easily impressed).

After that we walked around for a while, then we went to Bobo and Wei Liang’s house to play.

We played basketball mainly.

I stink at basketball…

Wei Liang got injured because he tripped over my leg…

His leg started bleeding and looked damn disgusting…

But we continued playing ;)

After that played badminton for a while before I went home.

Today was fathers’ day so I went home to have dinner with my parents and grandparents.

The food was not bad, there was KFC, home-made chicken pie, prawn salad, oyster omelet and apple crumble (also home-made) for desert.

After that, I watched a little of Hotel Rwanda. It’s horrifying to see the evil in men. :(

Man fears what he does not understand. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate. This hate is often misdirected at those least deserving of it…

Anyway, on a lighter note, tomorrow I’m going out for a movie with Bobo, Chee Kiang, Wei Liang, You Xin and Jun Sheng. Last few days of the holidays...

Okay, that’s all for now, ciao!

Here’s the story of my life…

Today, we had debate. MGS U14s is exactly one week from now. We still have two more training sessions before the competition. I’m a little worried about how my stamina will hold up... The last time I debated 3/4 times in one day was at VJs half a year ago…

Today we spared the secondary ones. Don’t think we had an easy time; the sec 1s were helped by our debate coaches (one of whom is a lawyer-in-training).

I did a decent job today (as compared to my previous spars with Hwa Chong and SCGS).

Yew Loong also gave the team some advice. I think that we are almost ready for the competition.

Our first match is against NanYang Girls School…

Anyway, today Chee Kiang and Nan Zheng were late for training (as usual).

Chee Kiang said his alarm was faulty (actually he overslept) Nan Zheng didn’t give an explanation, but that’s okay, I forgive the both of them. Lol.

Chee Kiang was 1st speaker, I was second and Nan Zheng was third.

After that, we (Chee Kiang, Hao Zhe and I) went for lunch together. I kept choking on my
kangkong (I hate veggies…)

Then after that I took circle line back…

And here I am now!

Afterwards got church (again…) zzzz.

Tomorrow is fathers’ day for those of you who don’t know.

Random...

Anyway, ciao for now!

All Good Things Must Come To An End…

The holidays are drawing to a close…

As much as I hate being bored, I hate slogging my guts out more…

Ah well, the end of the holidays is not bad in and of itself, it’s when the end of the holidays coincide with the beginning of school that it’s bad… Get it? Haha. (If you don’t get it, go get a life -.-)

Let’s move on to a happier topic.

Does anyone want to play badminton with Wilson and me this Sunday? Maybe I’ll call Bobo and Wei Liang too.

There was also something else that I wanted to say, but I forgot…

Anyway, for those of you who are interested to know, next Saturday there’s a debate competition for youth debaters. The team, more or less confirmed, is Chee Kiang or Hao Zhe 1st speaker, I as second and Nan Zheng as third. You Yuan and Chee Kiang or Hao Zhe (one of them) as reserves.

The themes for the competition are as follows; 1st round, medical ethics. 2nd round law and justice. 3rd round, India and finals (if we manage to enter) International politics. I am really hyped about the competition. Wish me luck, I’m going to ask the team we lose to or win out for dinner, lol. Hopefully it will be a girl’s school. That’s going to be something to look forward to, haha.

I really like watching Friends (the sitcom). Lol, Joey is damn funny…

That was random…

Btw, I just discovered something. You can make negative qualities sound positive by changing the words used. For example,

Chee Kiang is not stupid, he’s simple-minded.
You Yuan is not violent, he’s passionate.
Cher Han is not ugly, he just has inner beauty.
Jia Wei is not fat, he’s well-built.
I’m not stubborn, I’m resolute.
Jun Sheng isn’t sick, he’s just… sick (it’s the tone of your voice when you say it)

Haha…

Ciao!

Lunchtime Express!

Hi People!

Back again, updating just before I grab some lunch.

Today didn’t do anything much, but came across several interesting things on Chee Kiang’s blog.
1) Mind Games
2) The Music
3) Concert
4) Homecoming

So I’ll touch on mind games first.

I’m not a sadist or anything, but I like to use mind games sometimes. I’m not very good at it (but at least I’m better than Cher Han and that Herman guy).

I can’t say I agree with how some people use mind games, but if you use it purely for entertainment (like me) then its okay I guess. Mind games can have very fun results, haha!

The master of mind games is undoubtedly Sir Alex Ferguson (current manager of Manchester United). He made a grown man (Kevin Keegan) cry! Lol…

Okay, next, the music.

Edward Cullen’s lullaby is sweet in a sorrowful way, I don’t know, I’m a music idiot, but I can still appreciate good music and that music rocks! I want to put a song on my blog too (I will be right here waiting for you), but I don’t know how…

Now, moving on to the concert. I’m kinda looking forward to it. After all, you can’t be a cultured person unless you can appreciate the arts. And I want to be a cultured gentleman. Like Edmond Dantes or even V (from V for Vendetta).

Finally, homecoming. Hopefully we can make enough money to heavily subsidize the end of year class chalet. I have really cool plans for it!! I am cautiously optimistic that under Cher Han’s stewardship, we can make a decent profit. Unfortunately, 60% of the profit goes to the school.

I am seriously pissed off because of this. Companies are allowed to move to Country B if they feel that taxes in Country A are too high. I suggest that 2-3 set up a stall in St Nicholas Girls School instead… I don’t think that they’ll tax us 60% of our earnings…

Britain taxes its citizens 50% and provides free healthcare and a lot of other stuff. We get taxed 60% and have what? A bonsai garden and free dental care? This is ridiculous…

Okay, enough of my ranting. Does anyone want to play badminton with me? Maybe I can also call Cher Han, he is always bragging how good he is at badminton…

And I changed my blogskin! From the Joker to Hell Girl. I really like this blogskin, I think that it’s kinda cool.

Anyway, ciao for now!

Luchtime!

I’m using my lunch break to post because I have nothing better to do…

So far my day has been uneventful…

Morning wake up, read the newspapers.

Nothing about Arsenal, only North Korea, lol

I think next season Arsenal is screwed… Only got 13 million to spend. Even Everton and Aston Villa have a bigger war chest… Oh well, at least 13 million is more than North Koreas total GDP, lol.

Anyway, I’m really bored. The only highlight for me now is the MGS U14s debate competition.

Anyone want to go for a movie next week? Before school reopens?

I want to watch Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen.

Optimus Prime is damn cool…

“Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing”

Profound… He’s like a robot Yoda

“Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.”

Random… But yeah you get my point.

Btw, you know something even more random?

Singapore just got 2 submarines.

Not the sandwich but the boat thingy which goes underwater.

Looks damn cool, but only got 1 shower for over 80 people?

How to survive?

This is like my shortest post ever, but I don’t really have much to say…

Maybe I’ll post again afterwards, I don’t know… Bye.

Transfer News

Now is the transfer season in the football world (for those who don’t know), so this post today is for my good friend Sheldon, who loves football more than his mum. Lol

Okay, in the EPL, Liverpool has launched an 18.5 million bid for Portsmouth right back Glenn Johnson. The 24 year old England international has impressed at Portsmouth after a disappointing stint at Chelsea and several clubs are in the running to secure his signature.

Next, new Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti wants Carlos Tevez in his new team. He faces stiff opposition from Manchester City who are willing to offer Tevez improved personal terms. (Read: More money)

Michael Owen wants out of Newcastle United after the Magpies were relegated to the championship. Few clubs are willing to take a chance on the injury-prone Owen who was once rated as one of the best young strikers England had to offer.

Moving over to the Primera Liga and Real Madrid. Real’s bid to build a “Dream Team” has been out priced after Bayern Munich slapped a price tag in excess of 40 million (pounds) on star winger Frank Ribery. Valencia have also done the same with David Villa, but Manchester United and Manchester City are still in the running, with both clubs offering at least 45 million pounds for the highly rated Spaniard. Villa, in the past, has stated his desire to play for Arsenal, but it is unlikely that the Gunners will table a bid, having only a 13 million kitty.

Another Spaniard that may be on his way to the Bernabeu is Xabi Alonso. It is unlikely that the playmaker will still be at Afield next season after Real offered a cash plus player exchange. Alonso has grown disillusioned with manager Rafael Benitez after the latter tried to sell him in the last transfer window.

Haha! I love the transfer season. Will post again later, bye!

Tuition+Debate+Tuition Again=???

Today was a crazy day…

Morning had Chinese tuition at 9; my Chinese is getting from bad to worse…

After that I had my shower and went for debate.

I was daydreaming, so I took a train going to Bartly instead of Bishan… GG. I felt damn stupid, was almost late for training.

Today’s debate training was special; we prepped several 1st prop cases and then presented them.

This is was to prepare for the upcoming MGS U14s.

Chee Kiang, Nan Zheng and I all presented.

Saturday got training, got a little work to do.

After that I left at 430 to go for English tuition at learning lab.

Had a wee bit of fun there; suan-ed the teacher and Isaac (a friend of mine).

He threw my pencil case at me because I called him gay (in a roundabout way), lol.

After that watched slum dog millionaire for a bit.

Then I found out that my friend already got a ticket for the esplanade concert (thanks anyway CYY).

The concert is on the day school reopens leh…

At least it’ll give me an excuse to gussy myself up…

Wonder if anymore people I know (besides my Cat High classmates) are going…

And btw, Lampard is a decent player, but he isn’t the best.

World-class players are players like Kaka, Messi, even Arshavin.

Lampard is a decent foot soldier, but he’s not a God like Maradona or Pele…

And truly world class players don’t go to Chelsea btw, they go to Real Madrid and Arsenal, lol…

Anyway, I’ll end with a poem.

Lampard and Chelsea went up the hill
To buy David Villa (Vee-ah)
But Lampard fell down and broke his crown,
And Villa went to Real (reee-al)

Ciao!

Jonny’s B-day!

Okay, yesterday was Jonny’s birthday.

I paid 6 bucks for his present…

Not a lot but still blasted a hole in my pocket…

Wanted to get him a cake (sweet secrets has a mean chocolate cake!), but had no more money…

After that watched drag me to hell.

It was scary, very scary. I think it was because they maxed the volume so everything is 100 times louder than it is supposed to be.

It’s an okay show, but now I think horror movies are pointless, pay 10 bucks to scare yourself…

After that went MacDonald’s to eat dinner.

I had a Mac Spicy meal (upsized). I ran/exercised before the party so no guilt trip ;)

After that we went window shopping.

Then took MRT home… Sunday can get kinda boring without these outings.

Now I found this on Chee Kiangs blog, and it says I have to do it so…

Random…

This post is going to be a bit random because I don’t really have much to post…

Today had a spar with SCGS, I screwed up again…

I don’t know why during prep I felt horrible, like I wanted to throw up, so I was a bit unfocused…

Hiax, I want to leave a good impression at U14s after my disastrous VJ outing last year -.-

Tuesday got debate and tuition, both of which I am looking forward to.

But when school reopens I’m going to be busy.

Got the esplanade concert, two debate competitions, schoolwork and tuition…

Afterwards I have church, which is like a complete waste of time...

I subscribe to Karl Marxes idea the religion is the opiate of the people...

I was feeling random, so I did a quiz online; what age do you act, I am, apparently, 17 years old.

“You are a teenager at heart. You don't quite feel like a grown up yet, but you don't feel like a kid.You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. You're quite rebellious, and you don't like being told what to do. You like to do things your way. You have your own unique style, taste in music, and outlook on life. “

I kind of agree. Anyway, for those of you who want to take the quiz, here’s the html
http://blogthings.com/whatagequiz/

K, that’s all I have for now, bye!

Just Another Day In Paradise…

Today was an ordinary day, pretty much…

I had math tuition from 10-12, a bit sian…

Next week will have even more tuition, so must be mentally prepared.

But hey, if it helps me to get an A1, then what the heck!

Anyway, I watched Friends while having dinner.

My dinner was fabulous btw.

I had a steak (medium rare) with a glass (MacDonald’s Olympic glass thingy which also looks damn classy) of apple juice with two ice cubes (shaken not stirred lol, inside joke…)

The steak was juicy but had quite a bit of fat and gristle… Overall, with the pepper sauce, it was okay I guess, not bad for hawker fare (I couldn’t afford something from a restaurant)

I played Fifa 08 (I manage Chelsea).

I sold Nicholas Anelka for 16 million and bought Michael Owen for 12 million.

I feel ripped off…

Paying 12 million for Owen is like paying 10k for a bonsai plant; ridiculous…

And I still need to settle the ticket for my friend.

Luckily CYY offered to sell me his.

Tomorrow got spar with SCGS, they were 4th for JGs.

Gonna do my best, for Queen and Country (or Principal and School as the case might be…)

Bye till next time…

I need a favor…

Hey, any of you know where to get an extra ticket for the Esplanade concert (Melvin?)? Or any of you in performing arts and don’t need your extra tickets (Wilson, CYY?)? A friend of mine wants to go so I kinda need an extra ticket, so yeah…

Aside from that, my day today was okay I guess…

Today’s debate was a spar at Hwa Chong.

I really need to buck up.

At this rate, I’m not even fit to be the captain of the Yishun Town Secondary youth debate team…

You should be able to tell how the debate went after reading that sentence.

I really want to win something bad, I don’t even care if it’s U14s, Hwa Chong Invites or even JGs, I just want a trophy!

There’s a spar with SCGS (Singapore Chinese Girls School) this Saturday, must do my best…

There was a separate debate for Chee Kiang and some sec ones today (Enzel and Yi Kai if I'm not mistaken)

I heard they did quite well (unlike me -.-)

Btw, MGS U14s is on the 27th of this month.

I think we should have a decent chance of winning if the team hits peak form.

If Nan Zheng finds the form he had during the debate camp, Chee Kiang rediscovers the from he had at the beginning of this year, and I can regain the form I had after SYF, I think that we can win hands down.

Of course there is a big IF there.

This is a trend I noted, against weaker opposition and with easier notions, we do okay… When we go up against stronger opposition or get a chim notion, however, that is when we slip up, me especially.

The scouts are having Ubin camp over the next few days, good luck to Cher Han and Benedict! They’ll need it to survive…

Ah well, getting random. Please, anyone who has an extra ticket or knows where to get another, tell me! Thanks in advance!

Adieu!

Movie Marathon!

Hi guys!

Haven’t been updating regularly so now…

Let’s see,

A lot of things have happened in the last couple of days…

On Monday, Bobo, Chee Kiang, Cher Han, Wei Liang and me went out for a movie marathon…

We had breakfast in a coffee shop; I had a delicious prata and a cup of ice lemon tea…

That was my first time having breakfast with my friends at a coffee shop, it was a delightful experience.

We made a lot of jokes, and had a lot of fun at SOME PEOPLE’S expense. Lol.

After that, we went shopping.

I bought my mom a present at popular (it’s her birthday tomorrow), and Bobo, at my prompting, bought a deck of poker cards.

After that, we went to play at a playground nearby.

We played three card poker combined with truth or dare; the loser of the game had to choose truth or dare (duh)

I am damn unlucky…

You know the current channel 8 show at 9? About the looser gambler called Zhou Zhi Da?

I am like that…

Dunno lose how many times…

They asked me a lot of funny questions…

And I asked a lot of funny questions back (when I won which was very rare…)

After that went for our first movie, night at the museum.

The Cupids were really cute…

And I just found out that they were voiced by the Jonas Brothers :(

Okay, next we went to Sumo House for a delicious lunch!

The food there is quite nice and value for money.

There is a slight culture shock though… There was octopus and pickled vegetables, weird food

-___-

Cher Han joined us then and we all went to watch terminator salvation.

During the movie, I gave up my jacket to Chee Kiang and Cher Han because they were cold…

I always thought that I would be giving my jacket up to a cute cold girl, not a pair of boys???

The movie was okay, a lot of action...

Pizza Hut was for dinner…

Because our order was screwed up, we got two extra pizzas for no charge.

Cher Han thought that there was no free lunch in this world (which, coincidentally we were talking about in passing before earlier), so he gave us his share of the money (which was more that he needed to pay) and left (eating less than what he had paid for…)

Lol, we had a remembrance ceremony for Cher Han and the monetary sacrifice he made for the good of us all…

Then, we went to the playground and had a karaoke session.

We sang Low, Numb, Back at One and many other songs.

We were like some crazy people or something…

But it was damn fun…

After that we did chain pumping, 21 in total. (because 21 has symbolic importance)

After that, we pumped three more at my insistence.

First time we shouted 公教!

Second time, when we went down we shouted Cher Han.

Third and last time, we shouted Pizza Hut!

Lol, damn fun.

We must do this again sometime (with the missing N-Land Kakis)

Today had drama (sian)

Tomorrow got debate (fun)

going to be interesting

And I have just received confirmation that Adam Lambert IS GAY!

Yes, people, he is a homosexual...

That was random, but I had to get it off my chest.

And btw, New Moon (the movie) is comming.

I might want to watch it, but the actors are atrocious... (both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson)

Ah well, see how.

Ciao!

I miss you people!

Hello!

It’s been a week since the holiday started, and I miss all 2-3ians! (or at least half the class…jkjk)

There’s an outing on Monday, but all the N-Land people got camp…

Then want to postpone to Friday also cannot, Cher Han got scouts camp, Chee Kiang got St Johns, and I got tuition…

So basically, only Bo Jun, Cher Han, Chee Kiang, I and Wei Liang (in alphabetical order) will be going. All the N-Land kakis all MIA (Missing In Action)…

Things aren’t going to be the same without them…

Ah well, “If Job could bear his trials, then I guess I must bear mine” V for Vendetta

So my deepest condolences to those who will be missing the outing due to
1) CCA commitments
2) Camp
3) Tuition
4) MC -___-

I’ll try and arrange a “make up session" before the holidays end. Anyway, we all still have the year-end class chalet to look forward too… XD

Anyway, I did my speech today, ran into a snag at first, but I managed to clear my doubts with Cher Han… After that I did my speech. I was originally wondering if NS would be better than euthanasia, but then I decided to stick with euthanasia cause I already had a "pre-made speech" (from the bicultural scholar competition thingy...). I still had to massively edit it though, so yeah...

I “borrowed” a few quotes from Winston Churchill (Former British Prime Minister) to end my speech. BUT, when I was looking for some specific things he said, I also found this…

“I remember when I was a child, being taken to the celebrated Barnum's Circus, which contained an exhibition of freaks and monstrosities, but the exhibit on the program which I most desired to see was the one described as "The Boneless Wonder". My parents judged that the spectacle would be too demoralizing and revolting for my youthful eye and I have waited fifty years, to see The Boneless Wonder sitting on the Treasury Bench.”

A jibe at Ramsay Macdonald in the House of Commons (1930).

Winston Churchill bloody made fun of his own minister! And he did it in a bloody brilliant way! Winston Churchill is bloody brilliant; he should have been a comedian, not a politician…

Now, I’ll end my post with a poem!

If the ocean was coke, and I was a duck,
I’d swim to the bottom and drink my way up.
But, the ocean isn’t coke, and I’m not a duck,
So give me my coke, and shut the f**k up.

Lol, this is’nt mine btw, and the original has drug references, so I changed it a bit.

Anyway, I’ll see some of you on Monday. Until then, tally ho!

CCA

My internet was down for the last couple of days, but I’m back now!

Let’s see…

I had Drama yesterday (which I skipped), Debate today (which I went for), and Drama again tomorrow (which I am probably going to skip)…

Today, after debate, we (Chee Kiang, Hao Zhe, CYY and Nan Zheng) went for lunch. I had chicken rice while Hao Zhe, Chee Kiang and Nan Zheng had “Ban Mian”? Don’t know what it is, but it looked -__-

After that we went to play basketball.

Nan Zheng is damn zai! He 1v4 also can win leh…

Then as we played, the rest (but not me) began to strip.

One button followed by another and then another.

Hao Zhe unbuttoned his whole shirt. (got nothing to see…)

After that, NZ also stripped… (also got nothing to see…)

People started to look… Damn pai seh…

Oh, did I mention that the choir is having a camp? Poor saps… They all looked sooooo sad.

No amount of CCA points is worth that misery…

And people, another change in plans. The outing is changed to Monday. The exact details will be messaged to those invited at a later date.

P.S Remind me who is invited. Thanks.

P.S.S Remind me who is NOT invited. Thanks.

P.S.S.S If you don’t do both (or at least one) of the above, then please don’t blame me if unfamiliar faces turn up… (you know what I'm talking about)

Btw, what two movies do you guys want to watch? And if possible, can you all stay until about 8-9 (worst/best case scenario)? And bring enough $$$ for breakfast, lunch and dinner (try not to steal food or borrow money)?

27 days to go...

Hi all! Yup, 27 more days to go before school reopens again! 27 days of fun in the sun!

Now, about the “Class Outing” of sorts, would postponing it to Friday be okay? Cause Chee Kiang and I have debate training on Thursday…

Wonder how everyone else is doing… Beginning to miss some people already… Although there’s MSN, it’s just not the same…

Now, I’m listening to Disney songs… Damn bo liao right? But some of them are actually quite nice and meaningful. Not like some pop songs…

Btw, I just want to add here how nice it was to see you and talk to you again.

It’s been quite a while since we had a chat and I am glad that we had this opportunity to catch up.

It’s been really nice having you as a pal, and you are one of the best friends that I have ever had!

Even though you like to insult me, (and I like to suan you back)

Even though you’re a freak of nature, (and I’m not too good looking myself)

Even though we make an odd pair, (one short, one tall)

It’s nice to have a friend like you!

Through thick and thin,

In sickness and in health,

For better or worse,

You’ve always been there for me!

I hope that I’ve been at least as good a friend to you as
you’ve been to me!

In case I haven’t been clear enough, I’m talking about you Jia Beng…

Thanks for 7 years of fun! Hope the next 7 years will be just as enjoyable!

REASONS WHY GUYS LIKE GIRLS:
Hi, I’m back from camp! Here’s a little something I found in my e-mail… (my first post for June!)
Why guys like girls:
1. They will always smell good even if its just shampoo

2. The way their heads always find the right spot on our shoulder

3. How cute they look when they sleep

4. The ease in which they fit into our arms

5. The way they kiss you and all of a sudden everything is right in the world

6. How cute they are when they eat

7. The way they take hours to get dressed but in the end it makes it all worth while

8.Because they are always warm even when its minus 30 outside

9. The way they look good no matter what they wear

10. The way they fish for compliments even though you both know that you think she's
the most beautiful thing on this earth

11. How cute they are when they argue

12. The way her hand always finds yours

13. The way they smile

14. The way she says 'lets not fight anymore' even though you know that an hour later....

15. The way they kiss when you do something nice for them

16.The way they kiss you when you say 'I love you'

17. Actually ... just the way they kiss you...

18. The way they fall into your arms when they cry

19. Then the way they apologize for crying over something that silly

20. The way they hit you and expect it to hurt

21. Then the way they apologize when it does hurt. (even though we don't admit it)!

22. The way they say 'I miss you'

23. The way you miss them

24. The way their tears make you want to change the world so that it doesn't hurt her anymore..... Yet regardless if you love them, hate them, wish they would die or know that you would die without them ... it matters not. Because once in your life, whatever they were to the world they become everything to you. When you look them in the eyes, traveling to the depths of their souls and you say a million things without trace of a sound, you know that your own life is inevitable consumed within the rhythmic beatings of her very heart. We love them for a million reasons, No paper would do it justice. It is a thing not of the mind but of the heart. A feeling. Only felt.

That was random, but I found it so cool, so I posted it! Thanks Cher Han!

Okay, now for the camp. Okay it was kinda boring at times but a couple of good things happened.
1) I managed to catch up with my old friend
2) I saw the girl I was hoping to see
3) I managed to suan everyone conducting the camp

Okay, 1st thing’s first. Yeah, I saw Jia Beng (old friend)! We’ve been friends for like what, 7, 8 years? He is just as funny as ever! He’s like Jun Sheng but not so random, or gay, or weird… Oh, he’s an RI boy btw, (Maris Stella’s top scorer) ;) Dude, if u see this, tag please! (and don't tell anyone else that this blog even exists!)

Okay, next. “I saw the girl I was hoping to see” Kinda self explanatory… It’s kind of a Romeo and Rosaline situation though, so… Now I freaking know how envy feels like… It seems to eat away at your very soul… This always happens to me… Really getting used to it… Don’t like it at all though, just observing from a distance, never fated to meet.

Still have homework to do, I’ll update more in my next post and maybe I’ll also put some pictures on if they are out by then…

Till then, ciao!
