H1N1 Spoils My Fun -___-
H1N1 is spoiling my fun!
2 of my debate competitions were cancelled,
Tomorrow I may not be able to go for dinner before the esplanade concert.
In fact, I may not be able to go for the concert period…
I think people are over-reacting…
There’s nothing we can do to stop the spread of this virus.
So how now?
Live with it people!
The only reason that this new virus is so contagious is because it’s new and people have no resistance to it. If we all be socially responsible and increase our hygiene standards, we will be fine. There is very little else that we can do. Running around like headless chickens worrying won’t get us anywhere. Being paranoid will only push us further back.
So please people, don’t over react. Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it won’t get you anywhere.
After my very emo previous post, I’m not going to bore you to death with this one. I’m gonna move on to a lighter topics.
I woke up at 8 today to go for catechism class (some church stuff). I don’t really like it, but there are some really pretty girls there (Tricia XD). Unfortunately, the first thing I see when I get there is her talking to my archenemy (I’m being very melodramatic here). I wanted to laugh and cry, but in the end, I just settled for talking to my friend about random stuff…
That was a damn unlucky and unwanted start to the last day of my holiday…
Luckily, afterwards was slightly better.
I watched Friends! XD
Damn funny! Joey and Ross started fighting over a girl (not very pretty to me…).
Then they started suan-ing each other.

Ross and Joey spar (verbally) with each other. Lol, they are much better than anyone I know(sorry Mr Loo)
It’s very interesting because Ross was once married to a lesbian, lol. Joey insults him on that btw…

And the next part has to do with the esplanade concert. There will be a dinner before the concert (invitation only). The invitation is posted below as is the list of people invited. If your names not there then sorry, either I don’t like you or you don’t like me. Lol, jkjk...
But seriously, this is kinda like a little bit exclusive (for our clique as Jun Sheng likes to call it), so even if your name is not here, please don’t feel offended. Contact me if you want to go, I’ll see if I can make arrangements.

Dress code is smart casual (I actually have no idea what this means, I just put that in to make this invitation look more impressive, but all you really need is to look presentable. Meaning, don’t come in something that Cher Han would wear.)

Okay anyway further details will be discussed tomorrow. I’m open to expanding the guest list. However, only people, at the recommendation of the already invited members will be allowed to join. Of course the decision will also be subject to a 2/3s majority approval of the invited members.
Am I making this sound too exclusive? Sorry, it’s a “fetish” of mine. I like things with class and exclusivity. That’s why I have a set of drinking glasses at home and a reason why I joined debate. I have a champagne glass at home ;)
Anyway, I’ll see you guys tomorrow (whether I want to or not…)
