So this is Christmas...
Hey people.
Since CK did a post, I guess I will too.
Lets start from Saturday.
U14s was screwed…
We lost to Xinmin 1st round (We deserved to lose)
We won Hwa Chong 2nd round (Even though we didn’t deserve to)
We lost to RGS 3rd round (But we deserved to win)
So drama…
Anyway, I was ranked 5th, Nan Zheng was ranked 7th and CK was ranked 9th (out of 36 speakers)
Then we went to eat Mac (Team bonding XD)
Fast Forward
Sunday.
Went for catechism class. Was quite sian…
Fast Forward
Monday.
Chinese “ting li”
We got screwed by the invigilator because some of us forgot to bring pencils (not me)
Then before oral we (index number 10-30) made quite a lot of noise.
Some guy even kicked a soccer ball to the teacher as she was giving oral.
She kicked it back in :)
I think I did okay this time. I watched the Chinese news to prepare for this and I think it really helped. At the very least I was more confident this time.
The question I got was “Are you satisfied with the Singapore transport system” In Chinese. Or at least something to that effect.
My answer was (in Chinese) “Singapore, as a economic center and tourism hub has invested a lot of money in the area of transport. This has resulted in our transport system being extraordinarily efficient. Thus I am satisfied with Singapore’s transport system”
Of course the English version is more fluent.
Next question was “Which do you prefer taking, the bus or MRT?”
My answer: “I prefer taking the MRT because I feel that it is safer. After the London train bombings, Singapore has increased its security measures on the MRT. Thus I prefer taking the MRT because it is more secure.
Zai right? Lol…
At least I don’t think I failed.
Before I left, the teacher told me my Chinese was not bad.
Lol…
Then I went to eat pepper lunch with Bobo, Wen Zuo, CK and WL.
Then we went to talk cock at a playground. Had a mock debate over a crap motion (won’t say the motion here).
Then I went home.
Today
I mugged a little today. Two hours worth. Not a lot, but it’s a start. I realize that I forgot a lot of my math stuff, especially algebra… Damn. I was struggling with a few sums just now.
Afterwards I have tuition.
I don’t think that I’ve done my homework yet…
