5 Minute Lesson…
Hello people!
Learnt a lesson today!
About the importance of loyalty to the organization.
I plan to use it too.
To improve debate.
Bloody school is shortchanging my cca… Starving it of not only funds, but talent as well…
When school reopens I’m going to do my best to improve debate as a cca.
I have a few ideas, but I’m going to need the help of all debate club members and a special ally.
This situation reminds me of the Isreali-Singapore defence pact…
Anyway, moving back to the topic of loyalty.
I find myself in the peculiar position where I can so clearly see the difference in my attitude towards debate and ______. This has become especially evident after the debate camp.
I think that the debate camp this year was splendid, perhaps due in part to the fact that the coaches didn’t stay over so we could devote more time to team bonding… I really got the chance to bond with my teammates, especially some of the sec 1s. I see the potential in some of them that I did not before.
The other camp paled in comparison, utterly and completely… A disappointment of the greatest proportion, no wait, it wasn’t that disappointing because my expectations weren’t that high in the first place…
There was no bonding, no loyalty nothing….
Now I have been asked to volunteer to help out.
At first I wanted an exco position. Now? I really can’t be bothered… I don’t feel or care enough about it to even put in any effort…
I don't even feel like a part of the organisation, I feel a little excluded and disheartened...
Maybe it's just me but I just feel that I owe it no dues, that I have no obligation to it and that scares me…
Because now I know how Chee Kiang feels…
And I don’t want anyone in debate to feel that way… Not Chee Kiang, not the sec 1s…
I may just yet go and help out in ____ because I still want that exco position. But I won’t like it and my heart won’t be in it...

I cheated a lot…
Most chapters I filled in about 4-6 words instead of 10…
Lol, wish me a happy screwing when school starts…
